i don't mean to bash bill o'reilly or fox in general. it's not like i set out to criticize them, but fuck, they give me so much good material.
one of the big media issues last week was the decision to air the "manifesto" of the virginia tech asshole. by the end of the week, media outlets were having media analysts on tv talking about the implications and consequences of airing his video on tv. does anybody else see a problem with this? the news channels are taking time out of their schedules to talk about themselves. that's not why i pay for cable tv. i really don't give a shit what news channels think of themselves. give me some fucking news. did a monkey kill a human? is there a meteor falling toward earth? anything, please!
before i continue, please allow me to give my opinion on the fucktard's video. when i first heard what happened, my initial view was that he was some crazy schmuck. therefore, when i heard he made a video, i decided i didn't want to watch it. however, i understand the reasons why someone would want to watch it. for example, a psych student or expert may want to watch it in order to better understand how fucking crazy he was. i decided not to watch it because i really don't give a shit what a crazy person has to say. nothing he has to say to me can justify what he did in my opinion. besides, i read some excerpts from it online, and the "reasons" are still bullshit.
ok, time to get back on track. our good friend bill o'reilly apparently showed the video because he said he'd do it again because evil should be exposed to everyone. so apparently, he cares what the stupid fuck had to say. given that, it seems to me that he cares more about what a crazy person has to say then what a democrat has to say. when you think about it, it makes perfect sense. i have heard some crazy shit come out of washington d.c. for the past 6 years and he's gone along with all of it. in short, i ask who is crazier: the psycho or the person who cares what he has to say?
