alright, now to go into more depth. to be honest, the obama VP hype didn't live up to my expectations, which is kind of an indication of how much the VP position is nothing more than a title. i was expecting fireworks, marching bands, public displays of sexual depravity and all the other good stuff. maybe i'll see that at the national conventions.
apparently for mccain, the choices are mitt romney or mike huckabee. if you've read my rants before, you know how much i think that mitt romney looks like the type who kills kittens in his spare time, so he's out. that leaves huckabee. that would bring joy to everyone on so many levels. for me, i've heard enough "dick", "bush", and "gore" jokes, and huckabee brings making fun of a politician's name to a new level. the possibilities are endless.
i just thought of another great VP candidate: wicket, the ewok who befriended princess leia in "return of the jedi". if he can win over an uptight alderaan princess, he has my vote, that furry little scamp.
