you know those electronic signs on the highways? the ones that tell you when there's something wrong on the road? they're starting to piss me off. then last thing i need to see when i'm driving home is a reminder of all the shitty traffic i'm going to run into. the sign that says "delays from exits 32 to 18" should instead say "for the next 15 miles, you're fucked!" or maybe they should give a riddle or something for you to think about while you're in traffic. at one sign, you're posed the riddle. 5 miles and 38 minutes later, you're given the answer. fun for all.
the signs don't piss me off all the time. when there's an amber alert for a missing kid, then it becomes an adventure. i go on a stakeout for the car so that i can save the missing kid. however, i some news outlets let you subscribe to amber alerts on your cell phone. that's just fucking stupid. do we really need to be reading a text message while we're driving 65 mph on the highway?
my bro's gf got a gps for her birthday. she said that she could program in some favorite locations. why bother? if they are favorite locations, wouldn't you know how to get there after going there a few times? what's the point of programming it in? fucking retarded.
