i never thought i would see the day. the thought never even occurred to me. i guess i need to re-evaluate the realm of impossibility in my head. i am referring to the fact that a giuliani's daughter leaving a facebook group made the evening news. i've left facebook groups before. where are my 15 seconds of fame? how famous do i have to be before people pay close attention to every time i do the most insignificant thing, like pour a can of coke or fart?
i thought that newscasters were supposed to be in touch with the world around them. if they were, they would know that a person leaving a facebook group is commonplace and usually means nothing. once in a while, people look through their groups and wonder "why the fuck am i still in this group? it was cool months ago, but now, meh." maybe newscasters should get on the bandwagon, join facebook, and make their own group called "we're scared shitless about facebook! we don't know what the fuck is going on!"
