this year, it's all about the trilogies. shrek, spidey, pirates, ocean's 13. add on to that all the other sequels coming out, including fantastic 4, evan almighty, hostel, and die hard, the question must be asked...when does it stop? everyone knows that there has to be a point for some movies where the tit is dried up and it can't be milked anymore. maybe you've seen message boards of sequels that should never have been or sequels that just shouldn't be. if anyone reads this shit, please feel free to write down your take on what should never have been and what should never be. in the meantime, i'm gonna see if i can make up some of my own.
sequels that should've gotten SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome) when they were first thought up:
son of the mask, rocky V, ocean's 12, matrix 2 & 3 (you can disagree with me if you want, but i would've been happy if they stopped after 1)
sequels that shouldn't even be considered:
i forgot what you did last summer, could you remind me?
mighty ducks 4: go quack yourself
alien vs. predator vs. freddy vs. jason vs. elmo
snakes on a space ship
naked gun 444 1/4: oj's back
TMNT 4: shredder's still dead? what the fuck? (the computerized one doesn't count)
american pie 6: bake sale
