i was watching a commercial today for a computer on a payment plan. they didn't say what kind of computer it is, so that should raise some red flags automatically. i guess they were aiming the commercial at people who couldn't afford to pay for a computer all at once because they were emphasizing monthly payment options. i really don't see how this is possible, since it's possible to get a "bare necessities" computer for about $400, maybe less. you don't have to be a millionaire to get started downloading internet porn.
this is what really pissed me off: they gave the phone number and the website of the computer company. the website. they suggested that people without a computer visit their website to get a computer. my brain is freezing over the conflicting logic. if you don't have a computer, how can you visit a website? it's the same retarded logic as having a sign that says "no dogs allowed except for seeing-eye dogs". who is that sign for, blind people? if you said yes, find a stick and hit yourself in the head. blind people can't see, numbnuts! they can't read!
i'm sure that jim cramer, the guy from "mad money" on cnbc, is best friends with howard dean. i wonder if his screaming is just an act or if he really does scream in everyday situations. imagine going into a bagel shop in the morning going "BOO-YAH! GET ME BACON, EGG, AND CHEESE ON WHOLE WHEAT MOTHERFUCKER!" if his mom is in the hospital, "BOO-YAH!! INVEST IN DOW CHEMICALS! SELL MY ROTTING MOTHER'S ORGANS, THAT MONEY GRUBBING BITCH!" or if he's with his lady friend late at night, "YOU NEED TO DIVERSIFY YOUR PORTFOLIO! NOW PUT YOUR LEGS OVER MY SHOULDERS! BOO-YAH!!!"
i got my laptop back today and everything works.
