today's rant: the music is gone, originally 4/12/07

3 weeks 'til class ends, 5 weeks 'til graduation.  at least i found a job.

i'm somewhat saddened by the fact that my two favorite sources of music have...uh... fucked up.

first up, fuse tv.  f'n awesome until they started playing "felicity".  i was willing to live with the horror movies on the weekends, but i can't take "felicity".  there is no way that i want to see that girl who played the pink power ranger when i want to see music videos.  too many disturbing memories...i don't want to talk about it.

the next occurred while i was away for spring break.  my favorite radio station literally converted to christianity.  i'm not talking about the normal "go to church twice a year" "forget not to eat meat on friday during lent" "long live premarital sex" chirstianity; i'm talking about the hardcore "fornicators will burn in hell" "drug users will reap the harvest they've sown" christianity.  i know it's not appropriate, but JESUS TAP-DANCING CHRIST!

i'm hungry.  i'm gonna go eat cocoa pebbles and a toaster strudel.  damn, it's a shitty day out today.
