i was watching "saw 4" last night, and i noticed something. it's a clue that points out the cop who is jigsaw's new apprentice. when he's leaving work and leaving the FBI agents in his office, he's holding a stuffed animal. agent perez asks if it is for a boy or girl. he replies it's for a girl. agent perez then says that she didn't know he was married. he replies that he wasn't and it was a short story. i then realized that the doll was not for his daughter, because he has none. it's for jeff's daughter, the girl trapped by jigsaw at the end of "saw 3". look back at "saw 3" when jigsaw's dying and plays his tape. when he says that he's the only one who knows where jeff's daughter is, she is shown behind a locked door holding the same stuffed animal. to anyone who noticed that the first time around, i applaud you.
what to look forward to in "saw 5"? well, there's what is written on amanda's letter, as well as what the cop dropped in the envelop (looked like a flash drive). still no sign of dr. gordon. looks like that one of the FBI agents is the next test subject. something has to happen to him between the time the door shuts the room that he and all the corpses (including jigsaw's) are in, and the time where jigsaw's body is on the autopsy table. shot in the dark, but i think the new apprentice has to be tested, too. jigsaw did say in the final tape that he wouldn't walk away untested, i don't think that was just for show.
in other news, for once, i'm glad i was wrong. i said a few months back that i didn't think they'd make it to the super bowl. well, spank my ass and call me charlie.
