i can't truly put into words how much that box is pissing me off. if you're reading this and you're female, let me elaborate, because i don't think you're subjected to this. when i log in to myspace, there is more often than not a flash video advertisement of a lady in her early twenties pretending to be chatting and waiting for a response. most recently, it is a 20yo dancing girl promoting what i guess is some dating sight. ladies, do you get this too? is there some guy in a tank top in the window next to your picture when you log in grinding his junk in front of a webcam?
that's kinda the last thing i want people to see when i'm on myspace. i check it when i'm at work, mainly to delete the fake friend requests (go figure, i just got another one and i'm sure there are more to come). boom, that's the first thing that pops up. i gotta keep the page halfway down just so people don't get the wrong idea. "no sir, i wasn't looking at porn on myspace. THIS site has the porn, see?"
high c's are going to binghamton on 5/4 to sing with the harpur harpeggios, or "the pegs" for short. big a cappella school, 5 or so groups. possibly even going back to oswego the next day. we had an awesome time last year, so we're looking forward to it.
update: as with most annoying internet problems, there's a solution. just had to DL an add-on to make the ads stop playing. halleluja!
