since i am (or at least, i was) a part time student, i was only taking one class this semester: quantum physics. yes, it is as hard as it sounds. that's why i had to take it twice. what's more...the professor taught it at 9:30 in the morning. i don't care if you're stephen hawking. there is no way you can even start considering eigenvectors and schrodinger equations at 9:30 am. even worse, the final exam was at 8am this morning. FUCK!
i graduate next week. again, they're gonna make me get up at the ass crack of dawn for the ceremonies. except this time around, i have to wear a pretty blue gown that i paid $50 for but i'm only going to wear once. they should've at least given me a candy bar, too. if i'm going to pay $50, they should make it a godiva bar. next friday, i have to go to a physics department ceremony at 8am in the basement of the math building where it will just be the physics graduates, the parents, and the professors. if there is one thing i want to do even less than quantum physics problems at 8am, it's talk about physics to physics people at 8am. then there's the graduation ceremony at 11am. that will last for an hour and a half. right now, i have two things planned for that. one, i'm bringing my mp3 player. two, i'm bringing my graduation bingo card. every time a speaker says a phrase in a box, you mark it. when you get 5 in a row, you shout "BINGO" at the top of your lungs. go to collegehumor to get your own. the only problem with that is that if everyone has the same card (and there is only one that i know of), won't everyone say "BINGO" at the exact same time? on the plus side, it would be pretty funny to have people in unison saying "BINGO". on the other hand, it takes away the purpose of playing bingo if everyone is going to win. there is no clear-cut winner, and i don't think they have enough prizes for everyone.
