I have reached the point where I cannot, unfortunately, justify spending the cost of admission to see a sports event. Let me give you a side-by-side comparison. In 2023, I saw Lewis Black perform in Vancouver. It cost me $80 for a front row ticket, $10 to park, $25 for dinner, and gas. In 2024, I considered going up to Vancouver for Survivor Series. I decided not to go because it would have cost $145 for a nosebleed seat, and I didn't even bother calculating the cost of transportation. What the fuck, WWE? It used to be cheap to see a professional wrestling show. How in the blue hell did it become cheaper to see a Broadway show than a professional wrestling pay-per-view-premium-live-event PPVPLE? I cannot even see my New York Mets or New York Giants when they come to town because it costs so fucking much.
If you want entertainment, go to a theater production. It's cheaper and you will get as much entertainment.
